No one wants to get that call. The one that reports that while a valued employee — someone’s loved one — was performing a good day’s work, he or she was injured. At TCB we value people first, so safety is top priority. We do it for our people, and yours.
When your construction project begins, you’ll be busy juggling competing priorities. The safety of those in and around the jobsite shouldn’t be one of them. Not when you’re working with a professional construction company that genuinely believes safety is the most important thing we do ─ every day.
Far beyond just our construction team and crew, we embrace a collaborative culture of safety and are committed to making sure your staff, facility users and members of the public return home safely when each day is done. Our quest for a zero injury work environment isn’t just a priority. It’s a key tenet of our company. We emphasize safety, because simply, it’s the right thing to do.
So we take the following steps with every project:
• Identify potential hazards and obstacles, reviewing intricate details such site observations, project constraints, obstacles and various challenges
• Review the job hazard analysis with clients to address and minimize potential risks
• Incentivize and encourage employees to consider safety in all decisions
• Conduct construction site safety audits regularly
An embedded culture of safety starts with ownership — leading by example. Starting with our President, Dave Raybourn, to each and every one of our employee owners, a never-ending focus on safety is at the heart of what we do. Working closely with your team, TCB’s full-time safety professionals will coordinate proactively with trade partners and industry experts to customize our approach for your project. Our goal? To send each and every team member, employee and guest home safely to their family at the end of each day.
