Shop Foreman – Miscellaneous Metal Fabrication

TCB Industrial is looking to add an experienced Shop Foreman to our team. A qualified candidate will possess strong team leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in the shop.  You will be responsible for verifying that the work performed by the shop is consistent and it meets or exceeds quality standards.  Required experience: carbon steel, aluminum, stainless along with different finishing methods.  Knowledge of custom fabrication, sheet metal bending, laser/plasma cutting, and tube bending are a must.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee day to day operations of the shop
• Work alongside shop staff, estimators, and Project Managers as necessary
• Generate and assign daily work schedules
• Maintain the order and efficient flow of the shop
• Assure that all projects are complete on time according to schedule
• Assure the entire facility is well kept and machinery & tools are maintained

Experience/Education:

• Must have 10+ years’ experience in a foreman position in a metal fabrication environment
• Knowledge of standard shop practices and procedures
• Ability to read and build to shop drawings
• Strong shop math skills
• Strong ability to multi task and prioritize
